SAM Ladies – an informal network

Sam Ladies is an informal network for women in the Sacramento area with metastatic breast cancer who were diagnosed under the age of 45.
This is a self organized group with no official affiliations or professional facilitators. SAM Ladies is simply a forum for women in the Sacramento area to connect socially, typically over lunch, phone and email. The group is targeted for young survivors whose diagnosis occurred under the age of 45.
This group has been inspired by BAYS (Bay Area Young Survivors) in San Francisco and its subgroup ‘Mets in the City’.
SAM Ladies is a new group which began in August 2010.
